Does Simple Wiki have an equivalent of the Village pump. I've trawled around trying to find it and it looks like main page talk is the substitute? that right? If so can we say so here? --(talk)BozMo 14:56, 14 May 2004 (UTC)Reply

It's at Wikipedia:Simple talk. I'll add a link to the help page. Angela 21:24, 14 May 2004 (UTC)Reply

New help

[change source]

The software upgrade introduced a help feature. I have moved and updated the help pages to use this new feature --Krik 21:03, 30 May 2004 (UTC)Reply

Good idea. It's nice to see we're a step ahead of the English Wikipedia for a change. :) Angela 10:29, 31 May 2004 (UTC)Reply

I will improve it. -- aflm (talk) 20:55, 28 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I could expand this a bit. It needs more content. Jt0

Hidden move button in Vector skin

Some articles are incorrectly named, but there is currently no way to fix them.Patrick0Moran (talk) 19:20, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Any Autoconfirmed user should be able to move pages. Since your account is older than ten days and has more than ten edits, you should be autoconfirmed. Are you using the Vector skin? If so, the move button is kind of hidden (you need to press the little down arrow thingy) - I've added an image here that might help with that. -Avicennasis @ 19:50, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Good examples for how to write about places?

[change source]

Are there any good example articles on towns or cities? I cannot see any very good articles. I want to make the Cullompton article bigger. I wrote most of the article on the English wikipedia but I am finding it hard to get started with Simple English. It is harder to write than I thought. (As a native English speaker, who rattles on far too much in real life, my sentences tend to the the stupidly long and their construction is often not as ideal as one would like, especially if no one is proof reading them for me)--NHSavage (talk) 17:35, 13 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Help to make a page!

[change source]

Hi! Would someone be willing to help me create a Wikipedia page for screenwriter/playwright Jonathan A. Abrams? He wrote the book for "The Heart of Rock and Roll" which just opened on Broadway and has already received a nomination for a 2024 Drama League Award in the category of “Outstanding Production of a Musical.” (https://dramaleague.org/2024-awards/)

Here is his IMDb Pro page: https://pro.imdb.com/name/nm3524942/

NYTimes review of musical: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/04/22/theater/heart-of-rock-and-roll-review.html

GoldDerby video interview: https://www.goldderby.com/feature/jonathan-abrams-the-heart-of-rock-and-roll-broadway-video-interview-1205805257/

He is also mentioned on multiple Wikipedia pages for his various projects - but his name is not linked out to his own page.

BIO: Jonathan A. Abrams (Book and Story) is a film and television writer/producer and theatrical book writer. His original screenplay, JUROR #2, directed by Clint Eastwood, is finishing production and will be released by Warner Brothers Pictures. He is also the creator/writer/executive producer of the television series “American Hiro” for FX, about the life of Benihana founder Hiroaki Aoki. Raised in San Francisco, he is a graduate of the USC school of Cinema-Television and is represented by Creative Artists Agency, Mosaic Media Group, McKuin Frankel Whitehead as well as Levine Plotkin. He is a married father of two young children and could not have written this musical without the help and support of his wife, Carrie Ainsworth, and the rest of his family.
