Infinity Stones

The Infinity Stones are powerful cosmic artifacts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), each representing a fundamental aspect of existence.

There are six stones:

  • Space Stone (Blue): It grants control over space, allowing teleportation and movement across vast distances. It contains the Tesseract, which can generate wormholes and teleport objects or beings.
  • Mind Stone (Yellow): It gives control over minds, intelligence augmentation, and telepathy. It embedded in Vision's forehead in the MCU.
  • Reality Stone (Red): It alters reality itself, enabling the user to reshape matter and manipulate the fabric of existence.
  • Power Stone (Purple): It provides immense power, capable of destroying entire planets or empowering other Stones. It contained within the Orb.
  • Time Stone (Green): It controls time, allowing time travel, aging or de-aging objects and beings. It encased within the Eye of Agamotto.
  • Soul Stone (Orange): It manages the soul, including control over life and death, and access to a pocket dimension. It requires a sacrifice to obtain.

In the MCU, these stones are central to many storylines, especially in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019) , where Thanos seeks to collect all six to achieve his goal of balancing the universe.
