Remigration

Remigration er et begreb, der særligt bruges af højreradikale i Europa, om en form for etnisk udrensning[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] af ikke-europæiske udlændinge fra eksempelvis Mellemøsten og Nordafrika,[8] der skal sendes retur til et såkaldt oprindelsesland, uagtet hvor de er født eller opvokset.[7]

Begrebet anvendes særligt af den Identitære bevægelse.[8][9] Nogle fortalere for remigration foreslår at udelukke visse personer fra en sådan masseudvisning baseret på deres grad af assimilation til europæisk kultur.[10][11][12]

Fortalere for remigration promoverer begrebet i bestræbelsen på etnokulturel homogenitet.[12] Ifølge Deutsche Welle skaber etnopluralismen et begreb om, at forskellige etniciteter har behov for hver deres adskilte leveområder – et behov for remigration af mennesker med "fremmede rødder".[13] Den mexicanske forsker José Ángel Maldonado har beskrevet idéen som en "blød form for etnisk udrensning forklædt som deportation og segregation".[1]

Som et middel mod masseindvandring og islamisering af Europa er remigration i stigende grad blevet et centralt politisk standpunkt i såvel den identitære bevægelse og andre højreradikale politiske bevægelser og partier.[14][15]

Forskning fra det britiske Institute for Strategic Dialogue, udført i april 2019, viste en markant stigning i samtaler om remigration på det sociale medie Twitter mellem 2012 og 2019.[16][17]
