Seems to me far too long and complicated for such a simple idea. Obviously copied directly from En wiki and relatively unsimplified. Should be ruthlessly pruned. It's worth noting that this is essentially advertising display typography rather than normal text typography. Almost all the examples are trade names, names of companies and products.
