Objectivity and neutrality

[change source]

Objectivity should be a standard in informative communication, as should showing a variety of perspectives—even those one personally disagrees with.

Furthermore, there is no single definition of multiculturalism. It can be both descriptive and prescriptive; it can be a factual statement or a policy (for some, even a moral statement).

This article begins by defining descriptive multiculturalism with statements such as “It is the simple fact of cultural diversity,” but leans toward prescriptive multiculturalism by framing opposition negatively with value judgements such as “Tolerance is a great help for multiculturalism,” “Xenophobia makes it difficult,” and “shows the acceptance.”
