Ray Chase (voice actor) → Ray Chase – WP:PRIMARYTOPIC per overwhelming pageviews since early 2020. A hatnote will suffice in redirecting towards the politician. Jeffrey34555 (talk) 07:09, 15 June 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. CoconutOctopus talk 20:41, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- Support clear primary topic. Link20XX (talk) 02:35, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose. No primary topic per long-term significance. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:31, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
- Support. If 99.4% of the views historically isn't primary topic worthy then I have no idea what is anymore. Not forgetting that the other Chase is Ray P. Chase, not Ray Chase, so this is barely a primary topic grab. In advance and in anticipation of such arguments, I'm opposing any WP:CRYSTALBALL theories that the next decade won't be the same as the last 10 years. CNC (talk) 12:00, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- Somone who is currently active is almost invariably going to have more pageviews than someone who died many years before the birth of the internet. And one having a middle initial and one not is utterly irrelevant to disambiguation. They're both Ray Chase and can both be called Ray Chase. The fact is that neither Ray Chase is an especially well-known figure. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:21, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- I'm of the opinion that Ray P was the primary topic last century, retrospectively applied, and that this Ray is the primary topic for this century. With this perspective I don't see recentism applying as is predominantly based WP:10YT or 20 year litmus test, that this subject would pass with flying colours per last 10 years. WP hasn't existed for a century, so I'm not convinced these type of policies extend to such theoretical scenarios either. I also believe revisiting this in 22nd century is ok if needed. - Oppose I am unconvinced WP:NACTOR is passed by this page, making its notability status unclear, therefore I oppose for procedural reasons. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 15:27, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- WP:NACTOR 1 (multiple significant roles) is easily met in my opinion. He is the primary voice of Noctis Lucis Caelum, Roy, Ryomen Sukuna, Gendo Ikari, and Takeshi Kovacs, all of which are notable characters and major roles in their respective series. While this article is poor and could use more biographical information, notability is not an issue. Link20XX (talk) 18:43, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- Roy's most prominent game, Fire Emblem 6, is not actually voice-acted, so it's only a bit part in other games. The only main character role he got in a AAA game was Noctis. I guess it depends what you count as a "significant role", but I usually boil it down to being a protagonist in the story, like Ashly Burch for Aloy for example. Anything less would really be iffy to grant "inherent" notability without sources. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 23:08, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- I personally don't consider "significant role" to be restricted to just the main character and that's how it's been interpreted in a few past AfD discussions for dub VAs. But if MCs are what you want, his roles in Charlotte (TV series) and Altered Carbon: Resleeved are just that. Link20XX (talk) 06:56, 7 July 2025 (UTC)

- Oppose Zxcvbnm's reasoning makes sense to me. I don't have time to go through every line of the article, but the sourcing appears to be primarily cast lists, and there's no obvious indication that either condition for WP:NACTOR is satisfied.--Martin IIIa (talk) 16:24, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
