• If the article that you made is under 1,500 characters, please add the {{stub}} template into the article near the end (below the "Other websites" section, and below any categories). This will let other editors know that it is a short article that needs to be made longer.
• If you have no idea what categories an article that you begin should go under, please add the {{uncat}} template to the article. This will let other editors know that you need help categorizing the article properly.

Drug dog

Two things:

1. Do you think Drug dog should be redirected to Police dog?
2. A user who created an article is usually allowed to blank it (especially if they just recently created it). This is taken to mean that they accept it being deleted, and it can be deleted under {{Qd-author}}.

Hey BigKrow,

To let you know we do not link to common terms that are universally known. I saw you relinked Village, Saskatchewan, and Canada in La Loche shootings. Saskatchewan I feel is ok, because not everyone will know will that is, but every person knows a a country and a village. Are you ok if I remove the links to those 2? Ok done. Also, I do not know if we have the full version here, but this is the en wiki version Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Linking.

Our exceptions:

1. We want redlinks galore (en wiki does not and hates them!) - Helps to find out what pages need to be created via Special:WantedPages (you may find something in there you want to write about too) I have found a few I do when I get time)
2. Common terms that everyone knows (like the two I mentioned) we do not do. Our goal is to keep it simple and if we link to all common terms, then we take the reader off of that article to another one to find out they already know what a village is, what a police force is, what the internet is, etc.

Village - Wikipedia:VOA_Special_English_Word_Book

As far as Canada, per MOS we do not link well known countries, however, we can link to the article Saskatchewan, Canada which makes more sense (actually I will make that change now). See Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Places, Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Wikilinking

RfD vs. QD

So you know instead of filling up the RfD board, you can select an article for QD for not being notable as long as there are no claims to notability in the article or if someone disputes it claiming notability. Otherwise you can QD it and an admin will make the final decision. It may take a bit to get used to it. I’m bringing this up because of one of the articles I was going through (before I got sidetracked with vandalism reverts) got my attention. If you have any questions, please let me know. New pages

Hi there again. When you are creating new pages (like you did with Riki Choshu), they need to be complete and formatted properly. A one or two sentence article with an external link is not meant for this Wikipedia and can be subjected to QD and the more you make, the higher of a chance you get blocked for project disruption and making bad new pages. I recommend you look at Wikipedia:Guide to layout to see how these should be done. So please take a moment and review it and then work on the article. If you plan on making an bona-fide article, I recommend starting it in your userspace, then when completed move it to the mainspace. If you want reviews on an article, you are more than welcome to ask me directly on my talk page or you can ask on Simple Talk.

Very short articles

Hi, I've noticed that you've published some articles which are very short and don't contain a lot of content. I would suggest you to move them to your personal user pages, and once you have added substantial content, you can then put them into the mainspace. Remember, we want quality over quantity on Wikipedia. We don't want to create as much articles as possible because what really matters is the quality of articles. See featured articles as an example – they have a lot of info put into them and adhere to many article 'rules' on Wikipedia.

Your warnings

If you are warning a user for making bad changes, use {{uw-vandalism1}}, {{uw-vandalism2}}, {{uw-vandalism3}}, and {{uw-vandalism4}}. Repeated Vandalism

Hey Bigkrow, hope you’re doing good. There is a user https://simple.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Medicomonk&redlink=1 who is again and again vandalising pages as he did to the page ‘Anangpal Tomar’ and ‘Tomar’. I already warned the user to add information based on citations and not to cause vandalism inspite of that the user is constantly trying to do povpush. You seem to be referencing another encyclopedic-like source, there still isn't a good source of these guys being in pakistan, as quoted in the supposed source: "These doves have been introduced to Hawaii and Pakistan." This is not a good reliable source onto if mourning doves were actually introduced in pakistan. I think it needs more context onto if they are actually there, no? Flood flag

Hi, Just an fyi regarding your flood flag message on Dream Indigo's talkpage; I can't speak for them but from my personal experience requesting the flood flag everytime I wanted to make repetitive edits was a long, tiresome and mentally draining battle that I always ended up losing.

• I've had flood flag requests ignored for an entire day
• I've had requests declined for silly reasons
• And I recently asked an admin for the flag and was replied to 10 hours later (which I understand)

So as you can see from my point of view, requesting flood flag is a waste of time and If I were to ask for this everytime I wanted to make those edits I would probably end up being years behind on things because I would have spent years either waiting for a reply or battling for it to be accepted!,

I guess it might be a better idea to ignore when people flood recent changes as there may well be a valid reason as to why they're doing so, If it's a vandal sure but if it's long-established users then I probably wouldn't care,

• This request for Charlotte Amalie, United States Virgin Islands, where you thought there was little or no meaning.

There isn't much information here, but there is definite meaning and enough for a stub.

• This request for Death of Charles VIII of France, where you included the comment "possible hoax?"

If you think something might be a hoax, please consider taking a little time to check. If you had looked at the English Wikipedia article, you would have seen that the information in this article really is the way the king died.

I'm considering restricting your ability to make quick deletion requests -- and RFD requests as well, because some of those have had issues they shouldn't have had. Like I said they didn't do their due diligence here and were appropriately warned for it. Tenera was reverting vandalism though - they just didn't know the revision prior to the IP they were reverting was also vandalism, BK however reverted an established editor and QD'd the article which in my books is 10x worse.

Hello, can you please don't tag notablitly on notable article without reviewing the sources like you did in Jawed Karim. He is notable because he co-founder of YouTube.
