- It is not shared use, it is named after Charles Rowan and Richard Mayne, joint first commissioners of the Metropolitan Police, since police history is one of my interests. MayneAndRowan (talk) 14:57, 21 May 2025 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Category:Superintendents in the Metropolitan Police indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 10:24, 27 June 2025 (UTC)

The article Chief Surgeon of the Metropolitan Police has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Searches did not turn up enough in-depth coverage from independent, reliable sources to support meeting WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Translations and sources
[edit]Hi, thanks for creating an article for Adolphe Viollet-le-Duc. Please make sure the citation templates are also translated or converted to what is used on enwiki. Currently, the citations are in their original French wikitext. ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me! 00:36, 28 July 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions and translations, however there are issues with the article Alexis-François Girard. Multiple paragraphs are completely unsourced. Please add more inline citations to verify the claims in the article. Thank you, Netherzone (talk) 20:51, 28 July 2025 (UTC)

Claude Vincent
[edit]Hi there. While doing New Page Reviews, I reverted your undiscussed move of Claude Vincent to a disambiguated title where the only other entry was a redlinked article. If there is another Claude Vincent article in the future, that can be discussed, but the current article is likely to remain the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, at least at first, and thus disambiguation can be resolved with WP:HATNOTEs instead of moving the page. See also WP:TWODABS. If you wish to undo my revert, please start a discussion at WP:RM. Thanks! Dclemens1971 (talk) 04:27, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
