Policies and guidelines

Neturality and sources

[change source]

On Wikipedia, articles must be written from a netural point of view, which means an article should fairly represent opinions about a given subject.

It must be kept in mind that content in an article should be based on what reliable sources say. Websites with majority user-generated content, like Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, are not acceptable as sources as they can be changed by anyone.

Notability

[change source]
Object shows are a popular genre, but simply being popular is not a replacement for notability.

On Wikipedia, the word "notable" is used to describe subjects that have an abundance of reliable, secondary, and third party[a] sources talking about it in detail. A thing must be notable in order to have a Wikipedia article, as per the General Notability Guideline. There has been multiple attempts to find a reliable source about BFDI, but only 1 was found.

Reliablity of certain sources

[change source]

Sources that frequently appear in BFDI pages are:

  • YouTube
  • Fandom
  • IMDb
  • TV Tropes

All of these sources are not acceptable because they are user generated. Sources that are links to official BFDI episodes are also primary sources.

  1. Sources that are not closely related to the subject.
